Westwood Day 2024: A Celebration of Community Spirit

The festivities start with a thrilling fireworks display on Friday night (September 20, 2024) after Westwood High School's football game, setting the stage for a weekend of fun.

On Saturday (September 21, 2024), the excitement begins with a 9:00 AM 5K Road Race and a 10:00 AM 1 Mile Fun Run, both designed to bring the community together through friendly competition and fitness. Registration is open for all ages, with parents encouraged to run alongside their children in the Fun Run. The day’s spirit is amplified through the Westwood Day School Spirit Trophy, awarded to the elementary school with the most participants. This friendly rivalry not only promotes getting active but also encourages school pride, strengthening bonds across the town.

Throughout the day, there will be numerous demonstrations, including a Taekwondo showcase, sports exhibitions, and a K9 demonstration, giving residents the chance to engage with and support local talent and services.
